Based in the greater Gunnison Valley, we offer everything from 3-day family trips to extended backcountry excursions for your hunt of a lifetime. Use our well trained llamas to get your family deeper into the backcountry, access remote fishing destinations or to pack out big game.

llama handling course
A 2 hour llama handling and packing orientation course is required for all first time renters. We will instruct you on basic llama behavior and general care. You will learn how to saddle, lead, and trailer llamas. We will teach you the basics of packing panniers and what to expect on the trail and at camp.
The cost of the course is $100 per group and can be scheduled anytime prior to your trip

Orientation
$100 One Time Fee
An orientation course is required for all first time renters with our company. The course is approximately 2 hours long, covers the basics of llama handling and packing with llamas. The cost is $100 per group, and is scheduled on an individual basis.
Deposit
50% required to hold your reservation
Once your reservation is accepted, we will email you a lease agreement and waivers to be completed. 50% of the trip cost is required to hold your booking. Full refunds will be given for cancellations made greater than 60 days in advance minus processing fees. The remainder is due is due 7 before your trip.
